Well were back up and running. It's been a while, I came down with pneumonia and didn't feel like posting, then our hard drive crashed. All is good now though, but we've missed Halloween, Peter's 3rd birthday (the wagon above was one of his presents) and Thanksgiving (that's Grandma and Grandpa Peterson with all their grandkids (Taylor is the newest born to Cara and Matt on Oct. 13th) on Thanksgiving. Everyone is doing well and excited for the Holidays. Check back I promise to post more often.

Peter's first obscenity

Well the other night at dinner Peter asked me what the sour cream on his plate was for. I told him it was to dip his burrito in. He asked if there was anything else and I said no. To which he replied with "God Damn it." I aked him "what did you say?" and he repeated it a few times. We explained, while trying to keep staright faces, that that's not a nice thing to say, and asked where he heard that. Don't worry Matt he didn't sell ya out. Later he said "dag blam it," (which I found out the next day is what Pedro from the Backyardagains said all during an episode) so I asked Peter if that's what he was saying Dag Blam It, and he said no, I was saying "God Damn It." Ironically enough that was Abbie's first (and only) obscenity. I expect a few more out of Peter.

Mommy's photo studio

Mommy dressed me all up and put me in her photo studio. It's the same dress as Abbie wore in her 6 month pictures. I'm sitting up all by myself in this, can you believe that, anyway I gotta go have a bottle, get a diaper change and take a nap, so Daddy can get ready for the coupon club with all the old retired ladies in the neighborhood.

First she gets glasses, then she starts First Grade, and now she went and lost her first tooth. She's growing up way too fast. She even let ol dad yank it out of her mouth and for those of you who know Abbie that's quite a big step for our little drama queen.

Holy Cow three posts in one day! Well had to give Holly her own. She is just to damn cute not to feature her at least once. She is just adorable, don't tell Cheri this but after holding out on having a third child I think I could have a fourth now. I forgot how much I love having a baby around. Man I sound like a chick don't I. Better say something manly before I get hit with a giant beer can. Hey the Cardinals are climbing back into the race and I did have a hole-in-one last month. Can any of you say that? That's what I thought.

Wow two post in one day! Well this picture is so cute how could you not post it. We spent the weekend with our good friends the Pagels who now reside in Bellingham Wa. The kids had a blast and as you can see they enjoyed playing dress-up and doesn't Peter look so cute in a dress. He also walks pretty good in heels. That's Oliver and Adelynn with Abbie and Peter. They have a great time together, we miss living in the same town with them, at least it's only a couple hour drive to visit.

We celebrated some birthdays this month, well mine and Cheri's. We also clebrated our 9th wedding anniversary this month. Can you believe it 9 years. I didn't think it possible, but I love Cheri even more now than the day we married. What a women. Three kids later and many, many more friends later we are as happy as can be. We thank all of you for making our lives a little bit brighter for being a part of us.

It's been a while since I've last written. I apologize. Life seems more crazy with 3 kids. They are very needy. Someone seems to always need something done. Ahh the life of a parent. Anyway Cheri started back at work Friday June 1. She acted pretty tough on Thursday but was reduced to tears several times during the day on Friday whenever anyone asked about the kids. We certainly miss her at home. I am getting ready for my big trip to Hilton Head S.C. for some golf and then home to St. Louis for 3 weeks. Cheri and the kids will join me in the Lou where we have Holly Baptized by my Dad. Abbie is in her last few weeks of kindergarten and is doing great. Hard to believe she is going to be a 1st grader. Peter is still being Peter and Holly is the sweetest little girl ever. Well I'm sure I will see some of you in St. Louis and if not I will be sure to post some pictures from vacation. Bye for now.

Well Mom and Dad left today, back to good ole St. Lou. We had a great visit and the kids loved getting to spend time with gramma and grandpa. Mom got to spend lots of couch time with Holly. We will be in St. Louis in a little over a month and Holly's baptism is on July 1st in St. Louis. Everyone is excited for the trip. Cheri has fully recovered, and looks and feels great. She is enjoying her time here at home (so am I), it's like I'm on vacation.

I figured it time to create a site where all are family and friends living yonder can keep posted on our goings on. Because I know how much you all want to know if Abbie got a fantastic frog in school today, or if Peter ripped up another book, or if Holly, yes Holly we have a third child now, see that's why I'm doing this.
