I post these pictures of my birthday not to make you feel guilty for not sending me a present, which you didn't, except you Mark, your a true friend (sorry I forgot your birthday again), but to point out my cake. It was half eaten before I got to blow out the candles. That's OK because my beautiful wife made me a gooey butter cake. No big deal you say, well no one knows what one is up here in the Pac NW. I haven't had gooey butter since about 1995. It was worth the wait. Maybe next time it won't be half eaten before I blow out the candles. Oh yeah the other pictures are of the kids enjoying our new pool. One that Abbie swore would be no fun "because it's a toddler pool and as you can see I'm no toddler." But she had a blast in it anyway.
